Course Development Request Form

Thank you for your desire to make our online program more robust and a good representation of Christian Brothers University. Please fill out this form so that the approval process will begin. The purpose for this form is to help faculty develop courses that will be part of a degree plan or will be often used online as part of the curriculum, like a GER course. You will be asked several questions about the course you wish to develop. The approval process, once the form is submitted, will be first to the chair of your department, your school dean, the director of the Center for Digital Instruction, and finally to the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The administration has authorized payment for course construction under three options. First, as fulfillment of the requirements for Online Faculty Training (OFT). Second, as fulfillment of Online Course Design (OCD). Third, as a course developed beyond training. In this instance, the course must pass the standard for your level of training, be approved by all necessary personnel, and be on the schedule for the next academic year. *
